Description: Excellerated Teaching Center is currently hiring Behavior Therapists to work in school, home and the community with individuals diagnosed with Autism and other related disorders. We are a company dedicated to helping the families we work with using the science of Behavior Analysis. Responsibilities:

  • Provides 1:1 and/or group therapy to clients utilizing behavior plans under the supervision of the BCBA or BCaBA
  • Collects and recording data on client progress through NET/DTT sessions
  • Provides feedback and modeling regarding the behavior plan and approved procedures, policies, and protocols regarding behavioral treatment to the client
  • Travels within the area is required (Pinellas and Southern Hillsborough County)
  • Ability to work independently and as a group
Educational requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required, college experience prefered
Experience requirements:

  • 1 Year Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • 1 Year Experience with children with disabilities and/or behavior challenges
Desired Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • BLS certification or willing to obtain certification
Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician certification or willing to go through training to become one
  • Experience working with children; experience with children on the Autism Spectrum or developmental disabilities strongly preferred
  • Reliable transportation, Driver's License and insurance
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Comfortable working with children who display behavior problems
  • Able to ask for help from supervisors/support team when needed
